But Facts Do Not Exist At All
The Quote "But facts do not exist at all, especially here ... Here everything is fabricated by somebody. Everything’s somebody’s stupid fib. Don’t you feel that?.." is borrowed from the film Stalker (1979) from the Russian film director Andrei Tarkovsky. The image installation is made up of image fragments of different formats, which can be rearranged again and again like a tangram puzzle. The landscape is based on a grid of inversions and is locally invertible. These tilting moments disturb the linear flow of reading and the safety axes that provide a metric space feeling disappear. The installation gives no specification of a chronological order.

Das Zitat „Dabei gibt es keine Fakten, un hier sowieso nicht ... Hier ist alles erfunden, alles ist irgendeine Erfindung von jemandem." stammt aus dem Film Stalker (1979) des russischen Filmregisseurs Andrei Tarkovsky. Die Bildinstallation setzt sich aus Bildfragmenten unterschiedlichen Formats zusammen, die wie ein Tangram-Puzzle immer wieder neu zusammengesetzt werden können. Die Landschaft basiert auf einem Inversionsraster und ist lokal invertierbar. Diese Kippmomente stören den linearen Lesefluss und die Sicherheitsachsen, die ein metrisches Raumgefühl vermitteln, verschwinden.
